Accessibility to the building entrance

The seat of the Słowiński National Park is located in two buildings. The main entrance to the management is from ul. Heroes of Warsaw. External stairs equipped with handrails. No adaptation for people with disabilities. The entrance to the administration building is from ul. Heroes of Warsaw. Double-leaf glass exterior doors with a handrail.

Parking place

There are public parking spaces next to the buildings, access to the car park from Bohaterów Warszawy Street. Free parking. No dedicated space for people with disabilities.

Accessibility inside the building

In the management and administrative building there are internal stairs on each floor. No elevator and no adaptations for people with mobility, sight and hearing disabilities. In the management building, at the entrance, there is an Emergency and Disposition Point, which is also an information point.

Admission with an assistance dog

You can enter the building and all its rooms with an assistance dog and a guide dog.

Sign language interpreter

There is no sign language interpreter in the building, and no on-line interpreter service.

Accessibility to the building entrance

The exhibition of the Słowiński National Park Museum is housed in two buildings. The main entrance to building No. 1 with an all-year-round exhibition is not accessible to people with disabilities. The entrance to the building for people with disabilities is equipped with an external elevator. Entrance to building No. 2 with a seasonal exhibition without architectural barriers. In building 4, marked as a cash register, access to the cash register window is provided. The entrance to the toilet for people with disabilities is located in building No. 3 on the west side.

Parking place

The nearest parking spaces are in the public forest car park in Czołpino. Free parking for people with disabilities. Entrance to the museum premises from the forest parking lot via a wooden footbridge, then approx. 50 meters on an unpaved surface. The map of the museum complex is on the left side of the main entrance. In the museum area, traffic takes place along communication routes, paved with paving stones.

Accessibility inside the building

Building no. 1 has an external lift for people with disabilities, which serves all floors. The elevator is equipped with control buttons that allow you to read in Braille. At the exit of the elevator, on each floor, a site plan in Braille. The Visitor Service Center is located on the ground floor (level 1), to the left of the elevator. The exhibition is equipped with a system supporting people with disabilities. You can download audioguides with sightseeing and hearing impairment at the Visitor Service Center (audio description, sign language teacher, induction loops, headphones for one ear). Building no. 2, one-storey, without architectural barriers.
